SECONDARY PROGRESSED CHART

A secondary progression chart involves moving the natal chart forward one day for each year of a person's life.

With this chart, astrologers can trace a person's progression since birth. Planets progress through the chart according to the number of years it takes for a planet to go through a sign. For example, the Sun takes approximately 30 years to progressed through a sign.

The planets' progressions are compared to the natal chart, giving a view into the person's current influences.

It is also a way to forecast future trends and influences in a person's life.
